Creating a More Welcoming Space at Hope City KC
The spaces where people receive support matter. A welcoming, well-maintained environment can help create a greater sense of dignity, belonging and pride for both the people being served and the surrounding community.
Hope City KC provides a place where individuals and families can find support, connection and resources. Over time, however, the exterior of its facility was in need of some attention.
Investing in the Space
Home for the Homeless funded the painting of Hope City KC’s exterior, helping give the building a fresh, renewed appearance.
The project went beyond simply applying a new coat of paint. Improving the exterior helped create a more inviting environment for the people who visit Hope City while also contributing positively to the appearance of the surrounding neighborhood.
Supporting the Whole Mission
Home for the Homeless believes strengthening a nonprofit sometimes means investing in the spaces that make its work possible.
By funding this improvement, Home for the Homeless helped Hope City KC continue creating a place where people can feel welcomed, supported and valued.
A fresh coat of paint may seem simple, but creating spaces that reflect dignity and care can make a meaningful difference.
